Sometimes I'm in the mood for a poncho and some electro. This poncho looks interesting and vintage but is actually from Forever21 (gifted to me by a sweet friend!). Here I just belted the back half of it to give to a little bit of shape and accentuate the drapey-ness. A winter hat is necessary because it's February in Chicago, duh. An item not pictured that was worn with this outfit (to listen to my electro playlist) are my favorite red Nixon earbuds.

what a fun poncho! ah! i've been searching for alternatives to just wearing puffy coats all winter long to keep warm in our fair city - i hadn't even thought of ponchos. the wheels in my head are now turning....
